At the age of six, I took my first painting class at the atelier of a local artist in my hometown. That space quickly became significant to me; for ten years, I was able to pause whatever was happening in my life to create, experiment, and, above all, learn to observe the world.
My family is no stranger to art: it was my grandfather who encouraged me to begin expressing myself in this manner. He passed on his passion to my mother and me.
My academic journey is not directly related to art, I have a bachelor's degree in Economics and a master's degree in Marketing, attending Università Cattolica in Milan and Harvard University for a while. Even though I love the field I chose, art has always been a constant presence in my life. Perhaps it is my creativity that has enabled me to stand out in certain contexts.
As Robin Williams said, "Medicine, law, business, engineering, these are all noble pursuits, and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for."
I paint everywhere, often in contact with nature, while always listening to music. There is a profound connection between the canvas I work on and the songs I listen to. My style and techniques change frequently, but I no longer view this as a problem. The beauty of art lies in the ability to appreciate the journey without worrying about the destination.
